As most of you know, I had major surgery to repair a hiatal hernia last month. I’m glad to report that the operation was successful, and I am healing rapidly. I’ve lost over 15 lbs. and have been walking a mile every day, rain or shine. I’m still on a restricted diet and will be for another two months, but I managed to sneak some Valentine’s chocolate without any ill effects. (I think one must.)
I want to thank all of you who offered your prayers and good wishes. They seem to be working!
On February 1st, I set myself the challenge of writing exclusively about love and publishing something on Medium every day. I’ve completed 15 stories so far, so I won’t share all of them, especially since I want to share a couple from the second half of January. There’s a true crime about Doris Duke you don’t want to miss!
I’m also pleased to announce that just in time for my second anniversary of writing on Medium, my follower count surpassed 2,000. The internet is a mysterious and magical thing, isn’t it? If you don’t subscribe to Medium yet, why not give it a try? You can use this link to get started.
So, without further ado, here are some of the things I’ve been writing lately. Please click on the heart below. It helps me make friends with the algorithm that controls my fate. Thanks!
