Seventeen haiku poems about mountains in less than 24 hours
Vocal Media is a writing platform that sponsors contests. Each contest allows unlimited entries, so when I saw a haiku challenge, I decided to go for it, even though the deadline was a day away. Each poem is only 17 syllables, after all.
Here are 17 of the poems I entered in the contest. Engagement helps, so please read, share, and “heart” them. Thanks!
If you want to take a crack at writing a mountain haiku, share it in the comments below. Each poem should have three lines. The first line is five syllables, the second seven, and the third five. It’s a quick little brain boost. Give it a try.
