Spring has sprung and today is World Poetry Day. Here’s what I wrote for the occasion:
Lately, my stories on Medium haven’t been doing too well. I wrote 28 in February, way more than usual, but it was one of my lowest earning months ever. I may shift to spending more time on longer-term projects. You never know when a platform will just disappear and take all your stuff along with it!
So here is a little of what I’ve been writing lately. The “Topophilia” essay won a prize in a love stories contest. I hope you enjoy reading these.
Poetry
Sonnet from a Parent to an Adult Child
Dreaming of Spring: Three Haiku Poems
History
15 Fascinating Facts About White House Weddings

Topophilia: The Curse of Growing Up in the Perfect Hometown
Thanks for your support. It means the world to me.
Cheers,
Denise
I’ve enjoyed all your writings. Shalom aleichem.
Topofilia was a nice read. It made me wish I had that feeling. Instead, I have topophobia. I have absolutely mo desire to return to my childhood home or relive its memories.
