Turn and Face the Strange
I'm making some changes to what and where I write and I need your help

Dear Inconstant Reader,
If you have been following my writing for a while, you know that I’m not a big one for niches. I like to write about many things: poetry, food, history, social issues, life lessons, health, etc. But, unfortunately, earning money on today’s writing platforms isn't easy unless you limit your subject areas to one or two.
Most of my writing in the past three years has been on the Medium and Vocal platforms. I did pretty well there for a while, but both platforms have changed how writers’ work is promoted and paid, and the changes have made writing there much less profitable for me than it used to be. I will not be adding new stories on Vocal in the future.
I haven’t completely given up on Medium yet, but I won’t be publishing as much there as I did in the past. It’s still a good place to experiment, and I’ve made friends there I want to keep in touch with.

I’ve started writing on the NewsBreak platform, but there’s a hitch. I can’t get paid for my work there until I have 100 registered followers. At the moment, I have about 30. So if you are not among them, please consider signing up and following me on NewsBreak.
You can plug in your local area and get news tailored to your region. Some of my stories are tailored to my local area, but some are of general interest.
